As we expand our operations and digital capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Fractional CIO to provide strategic leadership in technology, data, and IT governance — ensuring our digital infrastructure scales with our mission and growth trajectory.

Role Overview

The Fractional CIO will serve as a part-time executive leader responsible for shaping and executing the company’s technology and information strategy. This role is ideal for an experienced IT and digital transformation leader who wants to make a tangible impact in a purpose-driven, high-growth renewable energy environment without the constraints of a full-time corporate role.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Leadership:
  Develop and implement a forward-looking IT and digital roadmap aligned with business growth, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements.

• Digital Transformation:
  Lead the modernization of business systems, data architecture, and digital platforms to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and cybersecurity.

• Data Governance & Analytics:
  Establish best practices for data integrity, analytics, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making across energy operations, finance, and ESG initiatives.

• Cybersecurity & Compliance:
  Oversee information security frameworks, risk management, and compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and energy-sector regulations.

• Vendor & Infrastructure Management:
  Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors, SaaS partners, and cloud infrastructure to ensure robust, cost-effective solutions.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  Guide and mentor internal IT staff and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Executive Collaboration:
  Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and COO to align technology investments with strategic and financial objectives.
