We are a London-based boutique financial services firm backed by institutional money and founded by a group of highly experienced professionals. Our team includes Ox-bridge educated bankers and individuals with expertise in investment banking, wealth management, technology integration, and marketing/user acquisition. Our vision is to provide private banking services to the wealthy middle class globally, with a specific focus on Chinese expatriate clients. We aim to simplify the process of opening UK bank accounts, offer access to the UK's leading financial services, and provide investment opportunities in properties and equity markets. Additionally, we offer business banking services to international corporations and assist them in scaling up their operations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a part-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As the CEO, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction of the company, leading the team, and ensuring the successful execution of our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate the company's strategic vision, mission, and goals, ensuring alignment with our target market and competitive landscape.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our client base and enhance our service offerings.
  3. Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure the company's financial stability and growth.
  4. Team Management: Provide strong leadership to our passionate and experienced team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  5. Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness across all functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  6. Client Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to the company.
  7. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and adapt our strategies accordingly.
  8. Board Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the Board of Directors, providing updates on company performance, key initiatives, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
  1. Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry.
    • Solid understanding of investment banking, private banking, wealth management, and business banking.
  2. Expertise:
    • Extensive knowledge of the UK financial services industry, including regulatory requirements and compliance.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
    • Excellent financial acumen, with a track record of successfully managing budgets and driving financial performance.
    • Exceptional leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
    • Strong business development and networking skills, with a proven ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
  3. Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
    • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the Chinese expatriate market is highly desirable.

Working Arrangements:

  • This position is part-time, with an estimated commitment of X hours per week (to be discussed and agreed upon).
  • The specific working schedule can be flexible and will be determined based on mutual agreement.
  • The role may require occasional travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and other business-related activities.
