To achieve this, they are seeking a visionary Fractional Chief AI Officer (CAIO) to shape and oversee the AI strategy while working flexibly as part of the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Roadmap

Define and implement a company-wide AI strategy aligned with business goals.

Identify high-value use cases for AI across customer service, domain management, hosting infrastructure, fraud detection, and cybersecurity.

Advise on emerging AI trends relevant to the domain and hosting industry.
Product Innovation

Integrate AI into core products to improve automation, scalability, and performance.

Explore opportunities for AI-powered domain search, predictive analytics for hosting performance, and personalised recommendations.

Guide partnerships with third-party AI and cloud vendors.
Operational Excellence

Drive internal efficiency through AI applications in customer support (chatbots, NLP), billing, and provisioning.

Implement predictive analytics for server uptime, bandwidth optimisation, and infrastructure scaling.

Oversee AI-driven cybersecurity tools for threat detection and response.
Leadership & Culture

Serve as the executive-level AI authority, advising the CEO and board on strategy, investment, and ROI.

Governance & Risk

Ensure AI adoption complies with regulatory, ethical, and data governance standards.

Experience & Expertise

Proven track record as an AI leader—CAIO, CTO, Head of AI/ML, or equivalent—in technology, hosting, SaaS, or digital infrastructure sectors.

Hands-on experience with applied AI in large-scale, high-availability environments.

Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and cloud-based AI solutions.

Familiarity with domain registration and hosting industry challenges (scalability, security, customer lifecycle).
