The Opportunity
As CTO, you will be the technology leader and architect of our future. You will own our product development roadmap, technology infrastructure, and engineering culture. This role demands a blend of strategic vision, scaling experience, and hands-on leadership. You’ll work closely with the CEO, CPO, and wider leadership team to ensure our platform stays ahead of market demands and sets new industry benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Vision

Define and execute a scalable, secure, and future-proof technology strategy aligned with business objectives.

Drive innovation to keep the platform at the forefront of E-Commerce SaaS trends and emerging technologies (AI, automation, personalisation engines).

Translate long-term business goals into clear, actionable technology roadmaps.
Product & Platform Leadership

Oversee the architecture, development, and delivery of the core SaaS platform and integrations.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all systems.

Lead the implementation of new product features, enhancements, and integrations in line with market needs.
Team & Culture

Build, inspire, and scale a high-performing engineering, DevOps, and data science team.

Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and develop senior engineering leaders.
Operational Excellence

Implement modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable deployments.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, etc.).

Manage technology budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience:

Proven track record as CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior tech leader in a high-growth SaaS or E-Commerce technology business.

Experience scaling platforms from thousands to millions of users.

Strong technical expertise across cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, API design, and scalable databases.

Background in data analytics, AI/ML integration, or personalisation technologies.

Deep understanding of security, compliance, and resilience in SaaS platforms.
